Windpower Wales is sponsoring the expedition by providing the necessary carbon offset for the whole trip through the planting of trees at Hendre Llwyn y Maen. They have earmarked some three acres of new plantation for their own company and are providing us with sufficient carbon capture equivalent for the emissions expended during our extraordinary voyage – the total trip mileage for the whole team is some 300,000 miles!
